S What is a good diet to feed a macaw???
I am getting a greenwing and I was planning on feeding him a high quality zupreem all natural pellets and fruits and veggies with some beak appetit for a night night meal on some days I also am going to feed him some mixed nuts and some quinoa grains and much more. I want him to have a VERY good variety of foods as I want him to have as much nutrition as possible. He will have about 30 different fruits and veggies in the blend I came up with. Does this sound good???

Question #3:

Question #4:

Is Beak Appetit a good brand of bird food and is it easy to cook?

I am getting a conure (my second bird) and I really want it to have the right nutrtition. I found a brand called Beak Appetit and apparently it's really good for birds. However, I'm hesitant about buying food I have to cook.

Is it really as easy and quick to cook it as they say it is? How long will it last in the refrigerater? Is it messy? Is it hard to switch a bird from pellets to cooked food? I am a really serious bird owner and I want my bird to get the best nutrition possible, but I don't have all the time in the world.

Thanks!
I am in 8th grade so I have homework, sports, music lessons, etc... also my mom rules the kitchen and doesn't want me to be using the kitchen all the time to make bird food. She expects me to take care of my bird on my own, so she's probably not going to help me.

Question #5:

Do i have the right lovebird equipment?

I'm getting one in a few weeks...but I'm going to get the cage and stuff tomorrow hopefully...i just want 2 know if any of these are very harmful, or if i need 2 add, take off, or replace something on my list of things to get.
